How does Shoot Movers work? Our driver will arrive at your home or office, and then drives for you in your vehicle. Our law enforcement driver will load or unload any equipment in the vehicle at your direction.

Are there any hidden charges? No. We will inform you of all charges prior to your acceptance of the journey. However, if we are operating your personal or commercial vehicle and our driver is required to make financial outlays, i.e., tolls, gas or anything of that nature, then those outlays would require reimbursement and a fifteen (15) percent service fee.

When does billable time start?If we are operating your vehicle, billable time starts after our driver arrives at the address you designated for pick up and completes a 10-minute inspection of your vehicle. Our drivers will arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your requested pick up time to complete this required inspection, and you will not be billed for those minutes. However, travel time may be added for clients whose vehicle requires picking up or dropping off beyond the New York City line, call for details.  Additionally, if you request a vehicle within New York City, billable time starts at the time the vehicle is scheduled to arrive.  When scheduling commercial vehicles outside of New York City, please call for details.

Do you have Insurance? Our drivers are fully insured to carry commercial products.  We also maintain cargo insurance as well. Shoot Movers drivers maintain workmen’s’ compensation, disability insurance and are licensed, certified and insured.

How do I get billed? You will receive an invoice by mail, fax or email, you decide. We will need a signed authorization for credit card charges. We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal.

How do I pay for service? A deposit will be made with your credit card prior to the pickup date. The credit card provided to secure your reservation will be debited for the balance at the end of your service period. All major credit cards are accepted, Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express, as well as PayPal and checks. Checks must be received prior to service and cleared by our financial institution before pick up. Some or all of these conditions may be relaxed when we are satisfied with the credentials of the booker for subsequent bookings.

What is standard attire for my chauffeur? Our drivers wear blue or black work pants with black Tee-shirts, or Polo shirts with the name Shoot Movers on them.

Can I reserve the same driver whenever I use Shoot Movers? You may request the same driver every time. We will make every effort to ensure your request is accommodated when possible.

Can I reserve a vehicle and a driver with Shoot Movers LLC? Yes, Shoot Movers maintains or contracts with owner operators for pick-ups, work vans, fifteen passenger vans, 16”, 24”, 26” straight trucks with and without lift gates.

Why does my driver have to perform an inspection of my vehicle? The inspection is performed for the drivers’ safety. It is to assess whether the vehicle is road worthy. It’s also important that the driver is familiar with the vehicles operation.

What items are checked when Shoot Movers operate my vehicle? Insurance, registration, inspection, seatbelts, lights, turn signals, horn, tires, brakes, fluids and anything of concern to the driver.

What do I need to make a reservation?
Client contact information and address
Vehicle(s) information (year, make, model, etc.)
Proof of current insurance coverage for stated vehicle (faxed in with reservation).
Itinerary including dates, times, event locations, etc.
Credit Card to guarantee your reservation.

What if I need to cancel my reservation? A cancellation without financial penalty is allowed up to 24hours prior to the scheduled pickup date and time. Cancellations within the 12hours prior to the scheduled date and time are subject to a cancellation charge of twenty five (25) dollars. Cancellations within 6 hours prior to the scheduled pickup will be charged a minimum of $90 dollars.

What about last minute changes in my reservation? Additional charges may be necessary however it is done on a case by case basis.

How far in advance can I make a reservation? All reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance but can be made up to 1 month in advance.

Can I make a same day reservation? Yes, but you must call our office to do so, and we will make every effort to accommodate your last minute needs.

Are your drivers’ employees or contracted and how is Shoot Movers registered? Our drivers are employees; however we do contract with owner operators of some vehicles.  Additionally, Shoot Movers is registered in New York State as a transportation provider, and not registered as security guards,
